When this homeowner in New Castle, PA, noticed their house's corner sinking and visible cracks in the foundation, they knew they needed a reliable fix. As you can see in the photos, our team stepped in with Push Pier technology. This before-and-after showcases our commitment to not only securing your home’s foundation but also providing peace of mind with a solution that’s built to last. Notice how we've transformed a once-compromised structure into a safe, stable, and worry-free home.
The soil pressure against the foundation wall was too great to support. It caused the foundation wall to bow and crack. Water leaked through the cracks, causing the basement to get wet. The WaterGuard Interior Drainage System was installed to ensure the basement remained dry at all times. For the bowing and cracked foundation wall, CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcing System was installed. The CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcing System is a carbon fiber reinforced polymer system that provides strength and stability to the bowing and cracked foundation walls. This system was the perfect solution for the problem, as it provided the necessary strength and stability to the wall.
To permanently stabilize this homeowner's failing foundation wall, we installed our EverBrace Foundation Wall Restoration System. The EverBrace Foundation Wall Restoration System features a durable and corrosion-resistant design that provides long-term stability. It includes high-strength steel beams that are securely anchored to the foundation, effectively preventing further movement or deterioration of the wall. Additionally, the system is customizable to fit the specific needs of each homeowner, ensuring a reliable and effective solution for their failing foundation wall.
A result of soil expansion, this customer's foundation wall was unable to support the pressure, leading to cracking and bowing. In order to permanently stabilize and secure the wall, the CarbonArmor System was the most effective and ideal solution. In this system, fiber-reinforced straps are cured with high-strength epoxy to permanently adhere to the foundation wall, and braced at floor joists with steel brackets. The straps are 10x stronger than steel, yet flexible enough to contour against the wall itself.
The CarbonArmor system permanently stabilizes your home’s foundation walls. CarbonArmor uses fiber-reinforced polymers (FRPs) which are 10-times stronger than steel, yet flexible enough to contour tightly against your basement wall. The ArmorLock brackets bind and secure the CarbonArmor straps to your floor joists making the CarbonArmor solution fast, non-invasive, and ideal for quickly stabilizing bowing and leaning walls. In this picture a sill plate was rotted and larger anchors were needed to bite into good wood. This was done for free for the client as part of the transferable warranty.
Proper CarbonArmor installation requires certification and continuing education. Keystone Basement Systems belongs to the Supportworks network which provides this training and certification to ensure the public that only the best installation practices are being followed.
