The IceGuard system allows water to escape from a sump pump discharge line if the pipe freezes or becomes blocked for any reason. Even if the pipe outlet is buried under a foot of ice and snow, the water can escape, allowing the sump pump to keep the homeowners basement dry!

Before tackling this New Brighton homeowner's dilemma, their basement was a worrisome sight, with water seeping through the walls, causing damage to both the wall itself and the carpet below. Fast forward to after our intervention, as you can see, the transformation is remarkable. A leaky basement wall caused high humidity and water damage to this customer's finished basement. Water was prevented from entering the basement in the future through the installation of an interior perimeter drainage system, a high-quality sump pump, CleanSpace vapor barrier on the walls, and a dehumidification system.
