Keith and Marie had called Keystone Basement Systems due to the fact they had a bowing wall in their basement and their windows were not closing the right way. Keystone knew they had to send out one of their best field inspectors to handle this issue so they sent out Jeff Martello. Jeff is very well-versed in foundation repairs so he was a perfect fit for this project. Field inspector Jeff then sat down with the homeowners to go over the issues at hand and find out what their thoughts and concerns were. The field inspector then learned that this was going to be their forever home so he needed to come up with the best plan possible to get this fixed. The field inspector got right to work on the plan by conducting his very detailed inspection of the problem area. The inspection was conducted by taking all the right measurements as well as conducting moisture tests and so many other tasks that needed to be completed before the plan was going to be as accurate as it is. The plan consisted of installing an internal drainage system as well as a discharge line. The final step of the plan was to install some new downspouts and downspout extensions. The field inspector then went over the plan with the homeowner and made sure to also go over every question and concern they had. The field inspector then returned to the office and scheduled this out for installation.
Upon the day of installation, the foreman and his crew promptly showed up for their appointment and jumped right into work. They first unloaded the materials from the truck. The crew then got to work digging the discharge line, and the trench for the internal drainage system. The foreman and his crew then installed said drainage system and then proceeded to install the new downspouts and extensions. The foreman then met with the homeowners while the crew made sure to clean up the area that they had just worked in. The foreman made sure to give the homeowner the service department's phone number to call, for not only their annual services but also just in case they needed anything or had any questions or concerns. Both Keith and Marie were very happy with their results and even left a great review for Keystone.
