Basement Waterproofing Case Studies: Sunken Livingroom in Cecil
Marrisa and Tom had a unique house as their living room is downstairs and has a 8 inch sunken living room. The sad part was this amazing house was getting moisture and they didn't know what to do. They got on line and found the experts at Keystone Basement Systems and called right away. Keystone promptly sent out one of their best field inspectors Aaron Stull, who sat down with them and went over their concerns and questions, before performing a in-depth inspection of the problem area. Upon completion of his inspection he had come up with a fantastic plan to fix the issues at hand. This plan included a PumpSpy sump pump with a 5 year service plan, and a very unique 40 foot long internal french drain system. What made this system different was that 26 foot of it had to be installed in the 8 inch sunken living room. The plan was also going to be different then most due to the fact that the pump had to be placed into a storage area that was in the front of the house and was higher then the actual living room.
Keystone then sent out one of their best crews to get this project completed. Upon arrival they to sat down with the homeowners to make sure they knew exactly what was going to be taking place during installation. Once they were done talking the crew quickly got to work installing the products that were in the plan. The installation went on with no problems and once completed they showed the homeowners what and where everything was. The homeowners were very pleased with not only that the job was done but that it was done with expertise and very promptly.
