The IceGuard system allows water to escape from a sump pump discharge line if the pipe freezes or becomes blocked for any reason. Even if the pipe outlet is buried under a foot of ice and snow, the water can escape, allowing the sump pump to keep the homeowners basement dry!

Before tackling this New Brighton homeowner's dilemma, their basement was a worrisome sight, with water seeping through the walls, causing damage to both the wall itself and the carpet below. This basement's high moisture content rusted the metal support beam. As a result of the corrosion, the beam was weakened and the floors above were not supported adequately.
