Special gratitude to the project Day 2 and beyond team of Dave, Joey and Tristan for their diligence in making sure all was done correctly on our Basement Waterproofing project. Also, special gratitude to Tom and his team for our second project of Sidewalk Leveling and Sealing. The only reason there is a 4 star is that the waterproofing first day crew had incorrectly installed our sump pump piping to allow for our finished wall system to be installed seamlessly across the wall, they cut the drywall up too high which the second crew had to repair (reinstall), and they came unprepared to install the Clean Space which should have been installed along with the French drain that day.
Not sure who a call representative is. It was not easy to communicate once the project went from a quote to the scheduling to the folks in the office. There was a number I was given for the office which when called went to voice mail. No one ever called back. Had I not had a couple of cell phones, I was unable to get any questions answered. One of the most difficult issues with the inner office was who to talk to for what. No clear role except for scheduling. We tried for days to try to get the Care Club taken care of after the project to ensure we are covered for future maintenance. It is now in place, but there was no clear path to the process for this. It would also help if the website had a .pdf for the Care Club program.
Although our project was quoted, after further visual observation, it appeared the assessment of sources for water intrusion went undiscovered by the salesperson. When we asked him to include the downspout as a source he missed, he came ready to add to the cost. His explanation was that the ground was snow covered. Being present at the time, this was not correct. Also, on the initial quote the burden to supply a dumpster and install electrical for the project was thrown back to us as the customer. I've literally never had a contractor do that. We feel the quote should have encompassed the total project cost, and any omission on the part of sales should have been included at no additional cost. One last item is that at the end of the presentation we were given the price that we would pay if we signed that day. We really don't like to feel pressured, and that was not necessary to do a presumptive sale, especially since I contacted the company exclusively having had a prior business relationship with the owner. Just a few things that had us feeling unsettled from the start.
This pertains to Crew #2, Day #2 and beyond. We would like to commend Dave, Joey and Tristan. Please read our first answer on the survey for details. As for the sidewalk leveling Project #2, we would like to commend Tom! These guys were all awesome and are assets to Keystone!!
All of the crews cleaned up at the end of the day. No issues here.
I had a long-term business relationship through BNI with the owner, Aaron Stull.
