Keystone Basement Systems Case Studies: Garage wall bowing in Wall, Pa.
Bob and Ellen called Keystone Basement Systems after seeing them at the Home and Garden show. They had a garage wall that was bowing and it was effecting the way the door opened and closed. Keystone sent out one of their best field inspectors out to meet with them. Upon arrival he noticed the wall, and instantly took notes. They then all sat down together and discussed the issue before he did his final and thorough inspection of the wall. Upon completion of his inspection they then sat down and discussed his plan to get this wall structurally sound again, this was done so he could answer any questions they might have and to make sure they knew how urgent it was to have this project completed.
The field inspectors plan included some CarbonArmor straps. The CarbonArmor® Wall Reinforcing System is a state-of-the-art solution for bowing and cracking foundation walls. Using the same technology the Army Corps of Engineers developed to reinforce bomb shelters, skyscrapers, and bridges, we use CarbonArmor® to stabilize your walls. Keystone then sent out their best foreman and his crew to install these straps, making this wall stable again. The homeowners were very pleased with every moment of this project from start to end.
