This homeowner called in after trying to get ahold of "the other guy" as he put it and they will not get back to him. He had a sump pump installed by someone else and found out very quickly that unfortunately they did NOT stand behind not only their work but their product either. The pump that he had installed stopped working properly and was literally dumping gallons of water back into his basement. It had no alarm on it to let him know of this happening, so he had a disaster on his hands. Keystone promptly sent out a field inspector to speak with him and to evaluate the issue at hand in more detail for himself. This is done to reassure that we have come up with the proper working plan to fix the problem. The field inspector found that the outside drainage was done incorrectly due to it being to short, so it was not pulling the water away from the house properly, which was letting it pool up in spots around the house. One of those pools had froze and sent the system out of control and not functioning right. The field inspectors plan was to install a new SuperSump sump pump along with a speedy drain and make sure the new drainage pipes were fit to the right measurements needed. Upon completion of this project the homeowner was not only happy but he was dry again.
