The field inspector knew right away that getting this basement dry again was very important to these homeowners so he had to come up with a lifelong solution for them. The field inspector took his time going over every detail and every nook and cranny of the basement to come up with this fantastic plan. He conducted all the proper testing as well as taking only very accurate measurements and he also even placed a crack monitor in the wall to further conduct testing to make sure his plan was truly effective.  The plan was to install an internal drainage system with a service port connected, as well as a singular pump sump pump. The pump would be connected to a buried discharge line that would pull the water outside and away from the house.
